博山正觉寺方丈仁炟大和尚受邀参加印度那格浦尔佛陀文化艺术节开幕式
Ven. Renda, Abbot of Boshan Zhengjue Monastery, was invited to attend the opening ceremony of Buddha Festival (a festival of art, culture & heritage) in Nagpur, India.
In the evening of Feb. 22nd 2017, Buddha festival - a festival of art, culture & heritage was solemnly opened in Nagpur, India. Ven. Renda, Abbot of Boshan Zhengjue Monastery, was present by invitation and gave a speech.
In the speech he mentioned: “May the new chapter of our friendships of both people and Buddhism between Indian and China continues. We will devote our efforts to strengthen the friendship between our people, as well as propagate Buddhism in both countries.” Also, he wished a great success of the Chan Tea Musical which will be held on Feb. 25th evening, and sent his best wishes for Buddhists in India to be auspicious all day and all night.
The Buddha Festival was sponsored by Nagpur Buddhist Centre, and co-organized by Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Committee, Naharjuna education&Research Centre、Nagarjuna Training Institute, Dr. Ambedkar National Association of Engineers, National Film Archives of India. Boshan Zhengjue Monastery was invited as the special guest and the Chan Tea musical will be presented to the audience as grand finale of the festival.
