修行不能耍小聪明

人类的素质是参差不齐的，智力发育不一样，有的根器利一些，有的根器钝一些，但是只要认真修行都能成就。修行不能耍小聪明，小聪明没有用的。在修行的路上来不得半点虚伪，一点小聪明都不可以有、不可以耍，要踏踏实实地去修行。

No tricks in practice

People vary in their abilities. In terms of mental powers, some seem to be more gifted than the others; however, as long as they do their best, they all can reach their potential. Trying to be clever has no place in Buddhist practices, which is to no avail. There should be no cheating during the process of practicing Buddhism, and we follow a rule of zero tolerance towards tricks and easy way for convenience. Buddhist followers have to behave themselves in a down-to-earth way.
